Summary
There has never been a better time to join our Trust than now!
We run three busy hospital sites at Peterborough, Huntingdon and Stamford and provide outpatient services in two community hospitals in Ely and Doddington. Our 6,000 staff serve a growing population of 750,000 across North Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.
SCBU is part of North West Anglia Foundation Trust and part of the East of England Neonatal Network. We are designated a Special Care Unit with a 10 cot capacity (IC stabilization cot, 2 HD cots and 8 Special Care Cots).
We are looking for passionate Band 5 nurses who are either Registered adult nurses or Registered children’s nurses to work on SCBU.
If you are looking for a challenging role where you can make a difference then come and be part of our exceptional nursing team.
We have a good in house training program and we are dedicated to continually developing the knowledge and skills of our nurses. You will have the opportunity to work and learn in a child focused environment. We will offer you the support of a committed team to advance your skills with access to development opportunities both internally and with our excellent links to local universities.
We are looking for Band 5 nurses with or without Neonatal experience and we can provide support for both with a Neonatal induction Programme.
Priority will be given to colleagues identified as at risk through the Trust’s redeployment process.
As a team, we are committed to recruiting staff who uphold our values and can deliver excellent care putting babies and their families at the heart of everything we do, with an emphasis on working in partnership with the families to provide the best possible experience and outcomes.
We are excited at the prospect of supporting motivated individuals to help lead, develop and influence our service.
