About the role
The Inclusion team are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Advisor to join a well established team. This is a fast paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with the Head of Inclusion, Inclusion Coordinators and Tutors to support learners with Educational Health Care Plans and Special Educational Needs to provide high quality support across the college.
Other duties will include:
Maintaining relevant college information systems
Contributing to Inclusion Plans
Pastoral support and out of class social intervention
1:1 Intervention
Contribution to Annual reviews
Adapting resources
Potentially assisting with personal care
About the person
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a strong learner focus and be able to work effectively as part of a dedicated team.
Candidates should also have:
Possess or willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification in learning support
General education to at least Level 2 standard
