Summary

Calderdale College is excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Lecturer in Teacher Education to join our dynamic team.


This role focuses on preparing individuals to work with children and young people, with a strong emphasis on school-based provision, special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and supporting teaching and learning in schools. You will design and deliver innovative learning programmes in teacher education and SEND, primarily through our Free Courses for Jobs adult provision.


Key responsibilities include


Delivering high-quality teaching and learning across a range of courses
Ensuring excellent achievement, completion, and attainment rates
Supporting and developing the knowledge and skills of parents, carers, teaching assistants, teachers, and others working with children, young people, and adults
Contributing to outreach work that strengthens community engagement and educational opportunities
