Summary

Your Role
Uplands Junior Academy, part of L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, is seeking a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team. This role is vital in supporting our pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring a safe, happy, and inclusive environment both in the dining hall and on the playground.



Key responsibilities:

Supervising children in the dining hall, playground, and around the school site during lunchtime
Encouraging positive behaviour and play, helping pupils to develop social skills
Promoting the school’s values and safeguarding the welfare of all pupils
Assisting with minor first aid (training provided)
Ensuring the lunchtime period runs smoothly and safely


We are looking for someone who:

Enjoys working with children and is approachable, patient, and kind
Has good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Is reliable, punctual, and committed to supporting the school community
Will promote inclusion and respect across all groups of pupils
