Thistley Hough Academy is on the lookout for a creative, inspiring and highly motivated Teacher of Science to join our energetic science department. In this role you will bring a genuine passion for science and have a versatility, supporting the wider science curriculum including physics, chemistry and biology. As a confident communicator you will be committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning coupled with a strong focus on Health& Safety.
Our ideal candidate will have:
• Strong subject knowledge:with the ability to design and implement engaging lesson building the foundation of GCSE success.
• Classroom experience:confident in communicating high expectations with the ability to raise attainment and engagement across all year groups.
• Commitment to curriculum development and assessment:ensuring progress is accurately tracked and interventions are purposeful and effective.
