Drive the development of Superdrug's own brand identity and excel credibility, establishing our Own Brand offerings as trusted and desirable choices in the market.
You are the marketer for the Own Brand Core business, covering Personal & Healthcare categories.
You will be working with the Own Brand Marketing Manager to establish the core values of Own Brand as the Campaign lead and defining Own Brand personal care & healthcare as the category owner, building brand guidelines, crafting offline and online marketing support for Own Brand NPD & long standing ranges and producing marketing assets to attract an expanding customer base to the Own Brand business year on year.
A day includes:
Together with the Marketing Manager, you will lead marketing projects within the business, from supporting seasonal or brand campaigns, working with the online community – online media and influencers alike, to the trial of new social media platforms to build brand awareness and incite trial for top OB Core brands
· Working with internal teams and external agencies (such as Creative, Media, PR, Social, Digital and Activation Agencies) to develop the marketing support and calendar for Own Brand Campaigns across your categories.
· You will be responsible for creating strong and impactful social media content, to raise awareness of specific products, and own the caption and creation ahead of handing over to the social team for monthly slots.
· You will also be responsible for offline and online support for personal care & healthcare on an evently basis. This could range from corporate social media assets, radio adverts, CRM, The Edit magazine to POS.
· Working with the Own Brand team you will define the brand values, create guidelines and make sure the brand comes to life in each touchpoint that is consumer facing.
· Together with your Marketing Manager, you will develop and implement annual organic and paid Marketing support for your NPDs.
· Working with your Manager, you will ensure that the budget is tracked and managed in line with spend and while delivering the best ROI and following internal processes.
· Working with the insight team, store colleagues and others you will be the closest to the customer, understanding the customer profiles of own brand business and looking for opportunities to reach customers who fit this profile and don’t currently shop with us.

What you’ll need:
· You should be a Superdrug customer. A love for the brand is essential
· Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a must.
· You need to have some experience developing marketing materials and bringing these to life.
· Previous experience working in product marketing or brand management is a bonus but not required.
· A degree in marketing would be beneficial but not essential.
You will have a good understanding of social media channels and a keen interest in social media marketing for business and in particular retail.
· You will have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Photoshop or other photo editing software experience would be beneficial.
