We are looking for an EHCP co-ordinator to co-ordinate and complete the paperwork for the Annual review process within the legal time guidelines.

Lisburne School is an outstanding special school for pupils with severe and complex needs. This post is to join the Admin team and work closely with SLT and our Family Liaison team within the school supporting pupils with additional learning needs. Above all, you must be child-centred in your approach and have the enthusiasm, motivation and ability to work within a team as well as working independently managing and prioritising your own workload. Staff work tirelessly as a team to create a safe, inclusive and fun environment where children can receive the support they need to help them overcome personal barriers and obstacles and to make progress with their learning.

Your role will be important within the school by arranging and coordinating the review process including completing and submitting the legal paperwork. With this in mind a high level of literacy and computer skills. You will also be working to coordinate any other agencies involved with each child. This role would also include undertaking the school census 3 times per year, adding any pre-admissions to the MIS system and school network and to support the wider school admin team.

This is a very exciting time as we continue to grow as part of the Four Rivers Multi Academy Trust.

The post requires applicants to be able to demonstrate initiative, a desire to become involved in professional development to ensure high quality of provision, a willingness to be flexible and adapt calmly to ever changing situations. Applications from people with experience of working within the EHCP review process and knowledge of different educational needs would also be desirable but not essential. Due to the nature of the paperwork the post requires accuracy and good time management.

Please note if applicants have not heard by the interview date please assume that you have not been shortlisted on this occasion.
