About the Role
As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you'll play a vital role in delivering one-to-one care in patients' homes, supporting early hospital discharge and preventing unnecessary admissions. You'll build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, empowering them through tailored treatment plans and education. This role offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to make a tangible impact every day.
You'll work 37.5 hours per week, covering three shift patterns across 5 days out of 7, and regional travel will be required, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
About You
You'll bring your clinical expertise and compassionate approach to every interaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting holistic patient assessments in home or community settings
- Creating personalised physiotherapy treatment plans
- Delivering physiotherapy sessions to maximise patient independence
- Educating patients and carers on mobility and functional equipment
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Maintaining accurate records and using digital tools effectively
To succeed, you'll need HCPC registration, experience in acute or community care, and strong IT skills.
