Summary
The IT Services department is looking for a SQL & Integrations Developer to join our dynamic team.
The post will be required to design, develop and support sustainable high-standard integration packages and jobs working across a range of College IT systems and data sources. The post will also contribute to our in-house reporting creating SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards.
The college uses the following technology, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (TFS), Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), C# and Power BI.
This is an essential technical role supporting the College’s data integration across sites and systems. The role is also fundamental to the provision of timely and accurate KPI data and management information.
What you’ll be doing
Designing and supporting SSIS packages to integrate College systems.
Writing efficient T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
Ensuring high standards of data quality, uptime, and performance.
Developing and maintaining SSRS reports, SQL Server databases and data warehousing.
Developing and maintaining Power BI Dashboards.
Supporting stakeholders with accurate and timely reporting solutions.
What we’re looking for
Hands-on, proven experience with SSIS and SSRS.
Experience with SSAS and Data Warehousing.
Experience with SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimisation).
Strong understanding of database design, performance, and security.
Experience or Understanding of Power BI.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
