The Limes College is seeking a Taskforce Family Worker to join our dedicated team. This is a unique opportunity to support students with complex needs, helping them overcome barriers to education and thrive in a safe, supportive environment.
As a Taskforce Family Worker, you will:
• Work with young people at risk of exclusion, exploitation, or disengagement from education.
• Deliver targeted 1:1 and group interventions focused on resilience, emotional wellbeing, and life skills.
• Build strong relationships with families and provide parenting support.
• Collaborate with multi-agency professionals to ensure wraparound care.
• Promote positive outcomes and uphold The Limes College ethos: Belong, Relationships, Move On and Achieve.
This position is term time plus 5 INSET days following usual work pattern:
• Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday 8:45am to 4:45pm
• Friday 8:45am to 3:15pm.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Minimum GCSE (A-C) in English and Maths.
• Experience working with hard-to-reach families and multi-agency teams.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead interventions and monitor progress.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and factors affecting vulnerable young people.
• IT proficiency and willingness to travel(own transport required).
