The Role
As an Estates Surveyor, you will play a vital role in managing the Council’s property portfolio. The property portfolio spans the main asset classes including retail, leisure, offices and industrial with the largest proportion made up of prime retail within the historic centre of the city.
Essentially the post holder will undertake all aspects of property management but with the main focus on lettings voids from start to finish and professional work of rent reviews and lease renewals. An important aspect will be liaison with tenants and preparation of asset management plans. The postholder may also be required to work within other areas of Property Services as required.

About You
Proven experience in a similar role, or property management environment.
Excellent knowledge of Landlord & Tenant principles and Practice.
Well-developed negotiating skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with various stakeholders.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
