Summary

CNC Setter / Operator – Weekend Shift

Location: Redditch
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour + weekend shift allowance

Shift Pattern
  • Days: Friday – Sunday (3 nights per week)


  • Hours: 5:30 PM – 6:00 AM (12-hour shifts)


  • Breaks: 30 minutes unpaid per shift


  • Total Hours: 36 hours per week

    The Role

    We are currently recruiting an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business on a weekend shift pattern. You’ll be working with Mazak, Doosan, and Matsura CNC machines, across both milling and turning, producing high-quality precision components in a modern, safety-focused environment.

    This role is perfect if you value work/life balance, enjoy working independently, and want to maximise your earnings over just three days.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Set and operate Mazak, Doosan, and Matsura CNC machines (milling & turning).


    • Produce components to tight tolerances and quality standards.


    • Read and work from engineering drawings.


    • Carry out basic machine maintenance and resolve minor faults.


    • Inspect finished components using measuring equipment.


    • Meet production targets within a weekend shift schedule.


      What We’re Looking For
      • Proven experience as a CNC Setter / Operator.


      • Familiarity with Mazak, Doosan, and Matsura machines.


      • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.


      • Ability to work independently and manage long shifts.


      • Reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious attitude.
