Your new role
As Global Category Manager, you will take ownership of global category strategy and lead European sourcing initiatives across a broad range of operational spend categories. You'll collaborate closely with regional procurement teams, business leaders and cross‑functional partners to deliver value, drive innovation and support long‑term business objectives.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing global and regional category strategies.
  • Leading European sourcing activity to drive cost efficiency and supplier performance.
  • Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple functions and regions.
  • Conducting market intelligence to identify risks, trends and value‑creation opportunities.
  • Managing strategic supplier relationships and supporting performance improvement.
  • Leading commercial negotiations and working with Legal on contracting and compliance.
  • Using data and insight to guide decisions and improve procurement effectiveness.
  • Supporting sustainability, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives through proactive market engagement.



What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong procurement or category management experience, ideally in a multi‑regional or global environment.
  • Experience in direct categories, such as packaging or other high‑volume, low‑value materials, is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to develop and deliver strategic category plans.
  • Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills across complex environments.
  • Strong analytical and commercial insight.
  • A passion for innovation, sustainability and process improvement.
