The Chelsea Wing is looking for a passionate and skilled Band 5 staff nurse to join their fantastic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a UK registered nurse, with working experience past preceptorship in a UK inpatient setting, to deliver exceptional, patient-centred care in a unique private patient setting while enjoying all the benefits of NHS employment!The Chelsea Wing offers a premium patient-to-nurse ratio, enabling you to deliver highly personalised care across a variety of specialties, including:

• General medicine

• Surgical Care (Minor and major)

• Orthopaedic care

• Neurological conditions





As a staff Nurse, you’ll play a vital role providing world-class care tailored to the individual needs of patients and demonstrating the ability to go above and beyond in every interaction.

Chelsea Wing is a state-of-the-art, 12-bedded unit providing private medical and surgical care to patients seeking the very best treatment and comfort. Adjacent to it, the Westminster Wing offers private outpatient services,running clinics Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities
· Adhere to and model the standards outlined in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct

· Promote the trusts PROUD values

· Deliver safe, effective, and personalised nursing care

· Support pre- and post-operative care for a range of specialties

· Demonstrable experience in recognition of the deteriorating patient

· Maintaining high standards of Infection control and prevention

· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient journeys

· Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the wider healthcare team

· Maintain accurate and professional documentation, adhering to all clinical standards

· Have awareness of resources, staffing, and equipment to meet service demands

· To assist with any local or trust initiatives to ensure the continuous improvement of the quality of services and safeguarding of high standards of care

· To be aware of all hospital policies and procedures and collaborate with other health care professionals to ensure that these are observed

· Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a premium patient experience

· To help foster a supportive working environment and maintain staff morale

· To support, supervise and assess all learners, students, temporary new and junior staff within the departments

· Flexibility to work shift patterns as required including long days, nights and weekend / bank holidays
