Summary
Job Purpose This role relates to the Young Peoples work area of the Population Health programme. The role will strengthen young people's health and wellbeing in the area by providing meaningful work experience opportunities, informing young people about health and wellbeing services, and co-designing campaigns and projects. The role will include working in partnership with young people, Secondary Schools, Youth Services, faith and community groups and more. Main Duties Design and deliver interactive, needs-based workshops for young people within schools, adapting content to meet the interests and requirements of each group. Deliver the Young Peoples Summer Placement in August 2026. Evaluate and develop the Sixth Form Internship offer, gather feedback from each cohort to inform ongoing improvement. Expand the internship opportunity to additional schools as the programme becomes more established. Coach and mentor young people to develop impactful Health Action Campaigns during the Summer Placement Create opportunities for young people to develop leadership and confidence through activities. Contribute to data collection to support ongoing reporting, working with both qualitative and quantitative information. Ensure participant data is collected and inputted into the relevant database(s) including initial surveys, consent forms, case studies, ongoing monitoring, and evaluation Support the development of the Bromley by Bow Centres Young Peoples Social Prescribing Service. Build and manage strong relationships with partner organisations (GP Practices, Colleges and Schools, Youth Providers, Voluntary Sector) and other organisations. Support engagement and outreach events hosted by the wider Population Health team and partners. Ensure principles of co-production are implemented in the development and on-going review of the project. Ensure effective engagement and participation through a range of participatory methods. Recognise peoples needs for different methods of communication and learning and respond accordingly. Set up and maintain administrative systems. Maintain client confidentiality and safety by following correct organisational policies and procedures. Uphold Safeguarding procedures. Undertake additional tasks as deemed reasonably appropriate by line manager.
