Summary
Provide high-quality clinical assessment, diagnosis and management for patients with a broad range of neurological conditions. Deliver outpatient general neurology clinics and participate in specialist clinics depending on experience and service need. Contribute to the weekday neurology ward in-reach service, offering timely expert advice to inpatient teams. Work collaboratively with Consultants, Specialist Nurses and multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure safe and effective care pathways. Support the Multiple Sclerosis service, including clinical input and collaborative work with the MS Nurse Team. Participate in supervision, teaching and support of junior doctors, registrars, medical students and non-medical staff. Engage in clinical audit, quality improvement and governance activities to support high standards of care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with Trust policies and information governance standards. Contribute to service development initiatives aimed at improving patient experience, efficiency and clinical outcomes. Participate in continuing professional development, appraisal, and any additional duties reasonably required by the service.
