Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their own homes, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
Support individuals in following their personalized care plans to meet their specific needs.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
Engage with clients through meaningful conversation and companionship to promote emotional well-being.
Ensure that the living environment is safe, clean, and comfortable for all individuals under your care.
Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and family members to provide holistic support.
Skills
Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
Experience in a home care setting is highly desirable.
Ability to understand care plans tailored to individual needs.
A valid UK driving license is preferred.
Empathy and patience are essential qualities for providing compassionate care.
