Summary


Physiotherapy Assistant - Band 2

Permanent

1X 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for motivated, caring individuals with excellent communication skills to work within our dynamic in-patient Physiotherapy team to deliver a high quality service to patients on general medical wards.


• To undertake specific support work to aid with the rehabilitation and mobility of patients.
• To treat patients (often unsupervised) according to set treatment protocols and individual treatment programmes as identified by a physiotherapist.
• Work with direct and indirect supervision, reporting back patient progress and informing physiotherapist of any problems.
• To assist in the general administration and equipment needs of the physiotherapy department autonomously
