We’re looking for a Skills Delivery Senior Team Leader to join the Skills Delivery Team on a full-time permanent contract.
The Skills Delivery Team is responsible for delivering certificated and bespoke professional courses, SVQs, MAs and Open Learning courses in a college that aims to be one step ahead. This role will be responsible for the Work-based Learning and MA teams and will be responsible for maintaining the high-quality delivery and growing the commercial opportunities.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Team Leader with a strong background in delivering and managing Work Based Learning programmes. Ideally, you will bring direct experience of Skills Development Scotland Modern Apprenticeship contract delivery and management, including working with systems such as FIPS and Client Management Systems.
This is an exciting new post within the College, and we are seeking someone with extensive line management experience, a proven ability to lead teams to achieve KPIs, and experience in managing and maintaining quality assurance processes. You should also be confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams.
A key part of the role will involve developing business opportunities, strengthening employer partnerships, and supporting the growth of our qualification portfolio. Experience of developing new qualifications, enhancing systems and processes, and managing commercial contracts will be valuable as we expand our delivery beyond the region and increase our commercial reach.
To succeed in the role, you will have some or all of the following:
• This role would suit someone working at SCQF Level 8
• Experience of working in a similar managerial role is essential.
• Excellent people management and business development abilities are required.
• Strong customer service/ organisation/ teamworking/ relationship building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in digital skills relevant to the role, including experience using MS Office and any job-specific software/systems
• Adaptability to evolving digital opportunities and willingness to continuously improve digital competencies.
• Home working/ Agile/ Flex/ Hybrid Working will be considered for this post
