Summary
To use clinical reasoning throughout the therapeutic process. To carry out rehabilitation programmes crossing physiotherapy and occupational therapy. To recognise changes in a patients condition and report to the appropriate health professional. Undertake delegated tasks to contribute to the safe and smooth running of the service. The post requires the use of equipment and skills that necessitates the use of specific therapeutic handling and management techniques. To liaise with the voluntary sector partners with regard to individual patients as required. To adhere to the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and all other relevant policies and procedures. To respond promptly to any incident where service quality has fallen below an acceptable standard and report to supervisor, the clinical team leader or team manager. To utilise varied communication techniques and resources to ensure two way understanding e.g. Non-verbal, hearing and visual impairments cultural / language differences.
