COMMUNITY SHOP ASSISTANT MANAGER

PERMANENT PART-TIME, ALL YEAR ROUND

22.5 hours per week : 8.30am to 4.30pm : working alternate weekends

£12.21 per hour : £14,326 actual gross p.a. : 7.2 weeks holiday

Valence School has a vibrant community shop in the heart of Westerham, and we are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to help drive its success.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you:

✨ have retail experience (charity sector a bonus!)
✨ can support a small coffee counter—barista skills welcome but not essential
✨ enjoy working with volunteers and the local community
✨ want a meaningful role that directly supports young people with physical disabilities and complex needs

Working alongside the Shop Manager, you will help run the day-to-day operations, motivate a wonderful team of volunteers, maintain high standards and bring creativity to displays, stock rotation and shop presentation. You will also help provide brilliant work experience opportunities for Valence School students.
