Summary
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative/Forklift Driver for our well established client based in Godalming on a 12 week temp-perm.
MUST drive to due to location of site.
Industry: Construction
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am to 5:30pm
Pay:
- £12.98 per hour (27,000pa)
- After 12 weeks you'll also be added to the monthly bonus scheme, earning an extra £200 each month! (Earn up to £29,400pa).
- Safely loading and unloading deliveries using a forklift (counterbalance).
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Assisting customers and drivers in the yard.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Carrying out regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
- Supporting general warehouse and yard operations as needed.
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or builders merchant environment (preferred).
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures.
- Comfortable with manual handling.
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail.
