We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Maths to join our expert teaching team at Newcastle College, supporting learners to achieve success in Maths qualifications.

Whether you're coming from a primary or secondary background, your experience in explaining mathematical concepts clearly, building confidence, and creating engaging learning experiences is highly valued. We welcome applications from teachers who are excited to bring their transferable skills into a further education setting.

As a committed and passionate teacher, you will support young people to achieve their potential by using a range of strategies to build confidence, overcome barriers, and secure positive outcomes. You will work collaboratively with teachers and managers across our dedicated and enthusiastic Maths department, finding innovative ways to engage learners and motivate them to succeed.

You will promote an inclusive, supportive, and positive classroom culture, inspiring students of all abilities- including those with SEND- to attend, participate, and take pride in their progress.

Alongside delivering high-quality lessons, you will contribute to shaping and developing the Maths curriculum, ensuring that teaching is relevant, accessible, and aligned with the needs of our learners. You will also have opportunities to collaborate across the department to continually improve our provision.
