This elegant residence, complete with extensive amenities including an outdoor swimming pool, is being launched as a high-end short-term luxury rental property.
The Principals are seeking a professional, polished, and service-oriented Live-in Housekeeper / Guest Services Professional to play a key role in the smooth day-to-day operation of the property.
Working in this role offers a varied and engaging position, ideal for an experienced housekeeper who enjoys maintaining exceptional standards while also providing a warm and professional welcome to guests. The role combines traditional housekeeping duties with light guest liaison, ensuring the property is impeccably presented and that guests feel supported throughout their stay. You will work closely with the Estate Manager as part of a small, professional household team, alongside gardeners and external contractors.

Working Days: Flexible
Working Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, with flexibility

Accommodation: Self-contained studio annex, separate from the main house (all utility bills included)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 gross per annum
Location: Old Windsor, Berkshire
Starting Date: March 2026 (first week)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Full housekeeping of an eight-bedroom luxury residence, maintaining impeccable standards throughout
Daily cleaning, deep cleaning, laundry, ironing, and linen management
Preparing the property for guest arrivals and completing post-departure resets
Meeting and welcoming guests on arrival, providing orientation to the property
Acting as a point of contact for guests during their stay for on-site assistance
Managing guest check-ins and check-outs in coordination with the Estate Manager
Monitoring household supplies and reporting maintenance or inventory needs
Ensuring discretion, privacy, and professionalism at all times
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years of experience working as a Housekeeper in private households or luxury hospitality
2 excellent, checkable references
Conversational to fluent English
Legal right to work in the UK
