Role Description
This is for a self-employed Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Instructor at HFD Forklift Training. The MHE Instructor will be responsible for conducting training sessions for various material handling equipment, evaluating candidates’ proficiency, and providing constructive feedback. They will also maintain accurate records of training sessions, certifications, and performance assessments. As a remote role, you will be required for travel to client locations to deliver in-person training and assessments.
Qualifications
Extensive knowledge and expertise in operating Material Handling Equipment
Ability to develop and deliver engaging training sessions related to MHE operations and safety practices
Strong communication and teaching skills to effectively educate and assess participants with diverse learning needs
Attention to detail and organizational abilities for record-keeping and reporting
Relevant certifications in MHE instruction and safety (such as AITT)
Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote and self-employed capacity
Experience in the training or education field, particularly in occupational health and safety or industry-specific skills, is desirable
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
You must have:
• Driving licence with own vehicle
• Liability insurance
• various forklift certification
• In date accredited training certificate
