What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit an exceptional colleague to join our well-resourced faculty from 2026 on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. We are seeking a highly skilled practitioner who can enthuse both students and staff, helping us to maintain and raise attainment in this key subject. The successful applicant will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to inspire our students and deliver lessons that secure progress for every student.

We have a high attaining, engaged student body with students who enjoy Maths. The teaching staff in our supportive team are all qualified Maths specialists, with the addition of two non-teaching Maths graduates supporting years 8-11. The department has worked collaboratively to achieve high attainment at GCSE, and good progress for disadvantaged students.

This appointment represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious practitioner who shares our school values of kindness, ambition and diligence, and wishes to develop their career through working with a talented group of teachers who are committed to raising standards in mathematics.
