You will deliver high quality instrumental lessons to either individual students or small groups. There is also the opportunity for teaching work within the three Primary Schools of the Chulmleigh Academic Trust. Moreover, 30% of pupils are engaged with either music or singing. Pupils enjoy the benefits of well-equipped music classrooms and practice rooms which are available for use by peripatetic teachers to deliver a full range of instrumental and singing lessons.
The successful candidate will be expected to plan their own weekly timetable for each half term period, taking into account the availability of pupils. Main duties will include preparing pupils for music exams, GCSE assessments and performances. The role will involve completion of all administrative tasks required. The College offers financial support for Pupil Premium children in order that all pupils can access this provision, should they wish it. The postholder will liaise with parents regarding payment.
