About the Role
The Grosvenor Hotel in Plymouth is seeking a reliable and flexible Hotel All‑Rounder to support both reception duties and housekeeping/room cleaning. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in delivering a welcoming, clean, and well‑organised hotel environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Reception / Front‑of‑House Duties:
Answering telephone calls and handling guest enquiries
Responding to emails and booking queries
Checking guests in and out
Providing information and assistance to guests during their stay
Housekeeping Duties:
Cleaning guest rooms to hotel standards
Changing bed linen and towels
Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing amenities
Maintaining cleanliness of corridors and public areas
Hours & Contract
Zero‑hours contract
Shifts allocated based on hotel needs
Hours may vary week to week
Pay
Competitive hourly or shift‑based rate (to be discussed at interview)
About You
Friendly, professional, and customer‑focused
Reliable and able to manage time effectively
Comfortable switching between reception and housekeeping tasks
Able to work independently as well as part of a small team
Previous hotel, reception, or cleaning experience preferred but not essential
