The Role
- Operate baler machinery for cardboard and plastic recycling
- Collect and sort pallets by type and condition
- Build roll cages and prepare outbound loads
- Sort, load, and move goods within the warehouse
- De-kit vehicles and process returned goods
- Use powered pallet trucks (PPT) to move materials and recycling
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Follow all site health & safety policies and procedures
The Candidate
- Experienced Warehouse Operative or previous reverse logistics experience
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Physically capable with a positive attitude
- MHE experience preferably but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Counterbalance FLT experience (expired or in-house licences considered)
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong health & safety awareness and adhering to compliance policies at all times
- Flexible approach to work
- Ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions
Hours of Work
- Shift pattern: 06:00-18:00 or 18:00-06:00
- 4 on / 4 off rotation
- Weekend work required
- Day and night shifts available
- Opportunity to take on additional shifts
Pay Rates (First 12 Weeks)
- £13.00 per hour - Days (flat rate)
- £15.00 per hour - Nights (uplifted rate)
