Summary
To perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions. To provide a diagnosis, develop and deliver an individualised treatment plan. To utilise clinical and organisational skills to meet the needs of both patients and the Clinic. Job Type: This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week Shifts: The working pattern is Monday to Friday (working hours are typically 7.5-hour shift between the hours of 8am-8pm) Benefits package: Contributory pension scheme (total annual contribution up to 20%). Key Duties To demonstrate theoretical knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and awareness of the biopsychosocial model when determining clinical diagnosis and prognosis, resulting in patient centred goals and treatment plan in line with evidence-based practice. To demonstrate highly developed dexterity, co-ordination, therapeutic handling and palpatory skills for assessment and manual treatment of patients. Assess the patients understanding of treatment proposals, gain valid informed consent and have the capacity to work within a legal framework with patients who lack the capacity to consent to treatment. To keep accurate, legible records of patient care in line with service guidelines and observing rules of confidentiality.
