Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for anOperating Department Practitioner (ODP)orRegistered General Nurse (RGN)to join theTheatre Department at Newark Hospital.

We are looking forenthusiastic, motivated, and dynamic individualsto become part of our well-established and supportive team. Ideal candidates will bring experience inscrub,anaesthetics, and/orrecovery, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Our Newark site comprisesthree day-case theatres, aminor operations suite, and aprocedure room, offering exposure to a wide variety of specialties includingUrology, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Elective Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Dermatology, and Pain Management. The role also includes participation in our on-call rota to support intra- and inter-hospital transfers. On occasion, you may be required to work at our Kings Mill Hospital site, providing further opportunities for development.

Staff development is one of our highest priorities.You will work closely with our Clinical Educator and speciality leads to access comprehensive training aligned with NMC/HCPC standards.
