Summary
This lovely family in Clapham, London, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their school-aged child, with responsibilities covering all general nanny duties. They are looking for someone who can truly become part of the family, someone who enjoys working with children, has a positive attitude, communicates well with the parents, and feels comfortable with them being around. Their son is friendly and enjoys talking, playing sports, and reading. This role is open to local candidates only, and a valid first-aid qualification is required.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, Option one: 1 or 2 drop off in the morning and then 2:00/ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm + babysitting during the week. Option two: one full day, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, and 4 days, afternoon only + babysitting
Duties include:
Collecting the child from school
Assisting with homework and schoolwork
Preparing healthy meals and snacks
Organising and supervising playdates
Engaging in age-appropriate games and activities
Reading stories to support literacy development
Encouraging the child to tidy toys and belongings after use
Supporting the evening routine, including preparing school bags for the next day
Managing light laundry related to the child
Occasional grocery shopping as needed
