Position: Youth Mentor

About Us: Impact Mentoring is dedicated to supporting young people, particularly those facing challenges or who have been out of education for some time. We work children and young people to help refocus their energy towards meaningful goals and provide tailored support to help them achieve personal success.
Role Overview: As a Youth Mentor, you will engage in one-to-one mentoring sessions with children and young people, guiding and inspiring them to reach their full potential. This role requires a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people and a commitment to their well-being and safety in a structured and person-centred approach.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one mentoring support to young people, assisting them in setting and achieving their goals.
Always ensure the well-being and safety of the children and young people.
Transport mentees to designated locations and activities, requiring access to your own vehicle and a clean driving license.
Collaborate with the team to facilitate successful transitions of students back into educational settings.
Any additional experience working in schools or with individuals with Special Educational Needs is advantageous.
To support personal development, social development and gain life skills.
Requirements:
Have genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
Ability to engage and inspire positive change.
Possession of a clean driving license and access to a vehicle.
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time.
Previous experience in mentoring or related fields is preferred but not essential.
