We're looking for a reliable and hardworking full time Cleaning supervisor's to join our team! You'll help keep our [e.g., offices, homes, schools , premises] clean, safe, and welcoming.

Duties include:

    • To supervise cleaning staff, planning, allocating and controlling work as required, and ensuring staff adhere to schedules and work is completed to the agreed standard.

    • To complete GMP new starter inductions, provide induction skills training and the ongoing training of staff in the methods required to carry out duties, correct use of equipment and materials, chemicals and health and safety procedures.

    • To manage and maximise and promote good attendance; undertaking personnel duties in respect of pay variations, sickness reporting procedures, monitoring of timekeeping (through booking in/out procedures) including the first levels of the Standards of Performance and Attendance Procedures. To include but not be restricted to the implementation and review of Plans to Support Improved Attendance.

    • To monitor budgets for materials used in the provision of the cleaning services ensuring that the correct dilution and quantities are used.

    • To visit on a weekly basis all designated buildings within the area of responsibility, making regular contact with your cleaners and provide cover for leave sickness or vacancies for other Cleaning Supervisors and buildings as required.

    • To liaise regularly with District and Branch customers and Facilities Managers to ensure site cleaning requirements are met and there is a coordinated approach to the service.

    • To maintain and record regular health and safety checks on equipment and work areas, reporting any defects or hazards.

Requirements:

  • You must have a full driving licence and a car and Be available to travel

  • Good attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently

  • Trustworthy and punctual
