Part-Time Year 5 Class Teacher (2 Days per Week)

Tower Hamlets, East London
£160 - £260 per day (DOE)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in East London on a part-time basis (2 days per week). Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and learning through effective classroom management.
- Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of pupils, including those with additional challenges.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including enrichment activities and safeguarding responsibilities.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
- DBS registered on the Update Service - Essential
- Proven experience teaching at Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to support pupils who may present challenging behaviour.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
