Pay: £105 - £115 per day

Do you enjoy working closely with pupils and seeing the impact of focused support? We're recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for a school in the B6 area of Birmingham, where the role is centred around 1:1 and small-group intervention for pupils with additional needs.
This position would suit someone who prefers hands-on support, enjoys building strong working relationships, and is confident adapting learning to meet individual needs. You'll be a key part of the support team, helping pupils access learning in a way that works for them.
What the Role Involves
- Providing targeted 1:1 support for pupils who need additional help in the classroom
- Leading or supporting small-group interventions focused on learning, communication or confidence
- Adapting tasks and activities to suit individual learning styles and needs
- Supporting pupils with engagement, routine and emotional regulation
- Working closely with teachers and the SENCO to follow support plans
- Helping create a structured, inclusive environment where pupils feel supported

- Have experience working with children or young people in education or care
- Are confident supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 or small-group basis
- Enjoy focused, relationship-based support rather than whole-class work
- Bring a calm, reliable and encouraging approach
