The Opportunity:
We are looking for a hardworking, energetic individual who can think on their feet for an exciting fast paced position within the University of Edinburgh’s School of Biological Science.
The School of Biological Sciences is seeking to recruit a Technician to join the Media/Wash-Up Team at the King’s Buildings Campus. You will be providing media preparation, glass washing and waste management support services for research and teaching activities on a daily basis. Manual dexterity, attention to detail and a positive approach to high through-put workloads in a team environment are key requirements for the post. Awareness of laboratory procedures, particularly safe handling of waste and operation of equipment in a similar environment is desirable but full training will be provided. The post is full-time (35 hours per week), open-ended.
