Summary

Stock Controller

Bridgwater | £12.30 per hour | Monday-Friday | 42.5 hours per week | Temp with potential to go permanent

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a Stock Controller on behalf of their client based in Bridgwater. This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Duties
  • Book stock into the system and allocate accurately.

  • Book out dispatched goods and update records accordingly.

  • Coordinate with the supply chain to manage incoming deliveries.

  • Produce order pick sheets and delivery notes.

  • Record accidents in line with company procedures.

  • Log damaged stock and process order amendments.

  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve queries.

  • Carry out accurate and timely data entry across internal systems.

Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Confident use of Microsoft Office packages.

  • Experience using warehouse or stock control systems.

  • Ability to work closely with warehouse management teams.

  • Good organisational and communication skills.

What We Offer
  • £12.30 per hour (starting rate).

  • 42.5 hours per week.

  • Monday to Friday working pattern.

  • 8am or 9am start, 5pm or 6pm finish.

  • 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.

  • Opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
