Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Education, Employment and Training Adviser (SO2) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in empowering individuals by providing tailored advice and support in education, employment, and training pathways. Your primary goal will be to enhance the prospects of our clients by guiding them towards fulfilling career opportunities and relevant educational programs. You will work closely with various stakeholders including local businesses, educational institutions, and community organizations to foster partnerships that enrich our service offerings. Your understanding of the current labor market trends, educational frameworks, and training programs will be vital as you help clients navigate their options. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will engage with diverse clients from different backgrounds and with varying levels of need. You will be responsible for developing personalized action plans, conducting assessments, and facilitating workshops that aim to enhance employability and skills development. Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one advice and guidance to clients regarding education and training opportunities.
Develop individualized action plans to help clients achieve their career and educational goals.
Conduct assessments to identify the strengths and areas for development of clients.
Organize and facilitate workshops and group sessions on job search strategies, resume writing, and interview techniques.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and national employment trends, training programs, and educational resources.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers and training providers to create pathways for employment for clients.
Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients, adjusting action plans as necessary to ensure success.
Requirements
Proven experience in career guidance, education advising, or related fields.
Strong understanding of the education and training landscape, including available programs and resources.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse client groups.
Demonstrated ability to assess client needs and develop appropriate support strategies.
Experience in delivering workshops or training sessions is highly desirable.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
A relevant qualification in education, career guidance, or a related field is preferred.

End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £23.51
Location: Islington, North London
