An older gentleman with diabetes and a prosthetic limb requires assistance daily to support him with getting washed or showered, dressed, prompting him to take his medication and prepare a simple meal.
This gentleman has a good sense of humour and likes wildlife. TV is his main company during the day, so it is essential that someone reliable, understanding, caring, good natured and is there to check in on him to keep him fit and well.
The hours will require ideally two workers to share the hours to a greater or lesser degree (to be agreed), cover illness and annual leave for one another and will be split shifts.
This role is a short amount of time out of your day but would make a big difference to the client and reassure his family who live further afield.
