Person Specification
Essential:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)with experience in primary or Early Years education.
• Proven track record of working with children with SEND, particularly those with ASC and complex learning profiles.
• Coaching led professional development.
• Strong leadership and a clear vision for the school’s development.
• Opportunities to work with other local primary schools.
Desirable:
• Training or experience in AAC, Makaton, TEACCH, PECS or sensory integration approaches.
• Experience working in a specialist provision or resource base setting.
• Knowledge of current SEND legislation and best practices.
• Experience developing and delivering interventions that support emotional regulation and engagement.
