Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Meon Way Federation is currently seeking a Senior Midday Meal Supervisor to join our team on a Permanent contract. Based at Moorings Way Infant School or Meon Infant School, you will lead and support our Midday Meals Supervisors during the lunch time period. This role plays a vital part in ensuring safety, wellbeing and positive social development of our pupils during lunchtime.You will supervise a small team of lunchtime staff, promote positive behaviour and help create a happy, safe and inclusive lunchtime environment for all pupils.Key responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a team of Midday Meals Supervisors
• Arrange and facilitate appropriate play and physical activities
• Supervise pupils in the dining areas and playgrounds
• Ensure good standards of behaviour by the pupils are maintained
• Assist with associated ancillary duties (e.g. cleaning up spillages, ensuring tables are clean, etc)
• Provide welfare support to the pupils of the school, including undertaking first aid duties (depending on training)
• Attend appropriate training sessions in order to increase knowledge and skills
• To ensure First Aid is given and actions are recorded in the First Aid book
• To ensure confidentiality in all matters pertaining to the children and the school
• To be flexible and adaptable to deal with the changing needs of the school
