Summary
About the role:We are seeking a highly organised, analytical and detail-focused Exams and Data Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth, compliant delivery of all KS4 external examinations and the effective use of student data across the school. This is a key position combining responsibility for exams administration, data analysis and statutory returns, and oversight of data protection processes.
You will lead the organisation and administration of external examinations in line with JCQ and awarding body requirements, working closely with staff across centres to coordinate logistics, access arrangements and invigilation. Alongside this, you will produce timely and accurate data reports to support senior leaders, act as systems manager for SIMS, and manage student censuses and statutory submissions. You will also serve as the school’s Data Protection Officer, handling Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests with professionalism and confidentiality.
If you have strong experience of exams processes, enjoy working with data, and can balance accuracy with flexibility in a busy school environment, this role offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact across the Altus School
