We are seeking a reliable and personable Centre Support Officer to support the delivery of our oxygen therapy service on Saturdays. This role is ideal for someone with an open mind who enjoys working with people and being part of a supportive environment.
No prior knowledge or experience is required. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting clients using our oxygen therapy chamber in a calm, reassuring, and professional manner.
Safely turning the oxygen therapy chamber on and off in line with training and protocols.
Monitoring sessions and responding appropriately to client needs during treatment.
Working collaboratively with volunteers and staff to ensure sessions run smoothly.
Creating a welcoming and respectful environment for people with neurological conditions and disabilities.
Following all health, safety, and safeguarding procedures.
Person Specification
Essential:
An open and positive attitude
Comfortable working with people with neurological conditions and disabilities
Willingness to learn and follow procedures
Reliable and punctual, particularly given the fixed Saturday working pattern
Able to work well with volunteers and as part of a small team
Training and Support
Full training will be provided; no prior experience or qualifications are required
Ongoing support from experienced staff and volunteers
This role involves 4 hours per week on Saturdays only and is a valuable opportunity to contribute directly to improving the wellbeing of our clients.
