We are seeking a highly talented Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a busy and expanding construction team.



The successful candidate will be working on a wide range of construction and engineering projects. Offering advice and guidance to clients on disputes with employers, contractors and consultants. On occasion you may need to help draft building contracts and other construction documentation. You will be involved with some very technical disputes arising from commercial and residential developments. The role offers exposure to adjudication, mediation, litigation (including TCC proceedings).



Joining a busy team based in Stamford the role includes, but is not limited to: -

Acting for clients in construction and engineering disputes, including adjudication, mediation and County Court and High Court (TCC) proceedings. Providing an on going service to those clients.
Draf pre-action protocol correspondence, reviewing pleadings, witness statements, expert reports, and settlement agreements.
Liaise with clients, counsel, experts, and other stakeholders throughout the dispute resolution process.
Keep informed of all changes in the Law and Practice in the industry, maintain and enhance up to date legal skills.


The successful candidate will be: -

A Qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive with experience within Dispute Resolution. Ideally have experience of construction law.
Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
Able to manage a varied caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Understand the Solicitors Accounts Rules and Money Laundering Regulations.
Have a full driving licence with access to a car.




Hours of Work: 09.00 – 17.15 hrs – Monday to Friday (36.25 hours per week).
