Kenect Recruitment are looking for reliable and experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join our growing transport team in the Leeds area. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the UK, ensuring a high level of professionalism at all times. Class 1 HGV Driver Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Class 1 tractor-trailers for point-to-point (A-to-B) trunk routes

  • Transport trailers between depots, hubs, or distribution centres with no manual unloading

  • Perform required pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections

  • Couple and uncouple trailers safely (shunting, swapping, dropping, and hooking)

Class 1 HGV Driver Requirements

  • Valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence

  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

  • Minimum 6 months experience preferred (new passes considered depending on role)

  • Clean driving record or no more than 6 points

Class 1 HGV Driver Details

  • Sunday - Thursday Afternoon starts

  • £18.00 - £23.00PH
