Summary
We are looking for a Enterprise & Retail Tutor to join our Skills for Life team. This is a unique opportunity to combine retail
management with creativity and person-centred support.
Hours: 20.75 per week Monday and Tuesday 8.45am – 5pm and Friday 8.45am – 4pm, with 1 hour unpaid lunch each day
Salary: £16,067 pa (based on FTE of £27,330) if you do not hold a teaching qualification or £16,395 pa with a teaching

Location: Our shop on Church Road in central Bookham, Surrey with visits to our main site in Bookham when needed
What You'll Do:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of our shop in central Bookham, Surrey, ensuring smooth running, maximising sales, and
maintaining profitability.
* Plan and deliver engaging retail and enterprise sessions that empower individuals to develop practical skills, creativity, and
confidence.
* Support people to safely use production equipment (e.g., mug press, heat press, candle-making tools) to create goods for sale.
* Promote inclusion, independence, and sustainability in all activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and adapt creative and retail sessions to meet individual needs.
* Manage stock control, cash handling, and accurate financial records.
* Facilitate skills development in retail, customer service, and creative arts.
* Contribute and research ideas for new products.
* Monitor and report progress, contributing to team planning and development.
* Ensure health and safety compliance, including risk assessments.
What We're Looking For:
* An understanding of or experience in a retail setting with a creative element.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Comfortable using a range of IT programmes, including MS Office and willingness to learn new software such as Adobe Photoshop.
* GCSE level in English and Maths, particularly confidence with numbers.
* Someone who shares our values: Friendly, Open, Respectful, Caring, Enabling.
* Experience supporting people with disabilities (desirable but not essential).
* Commercial awareness and customer service experience.
* Creative arts skills and willingness to share them with others.
* Driving licence and willingness to drive Grange vehicles (desirable).
* Teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one).
