Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable care professional with manual handling experience to join our expanding care agency, delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in the Cwmbran area.
Role Overview:
Provide compassionate, person-centred care that upholds service users’ dignity, privacy, and respect
Support individuals with personal care needs, including hygiene and mobility assistance
Carry out manual handling tasks safely using appropriate equipment such as hoists and slide sheets
Assist with meals, offer medication prompts, and provide meaningful companionship
Encourage independence and support individuals to maintain a high quality of life
Accurately document care provided and communicate clearly with members of the care team
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months UK based experience in care work
Manual handling training and confidence using equipment
A caring, empathetic, and professional attitude
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Reliable, punctual, and good communication skills
