Summary
Are you a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) or an experienced tutor with a passion for working with learner who require bespoke education & 1-1 tuition. LMC supports learner to overcome barriers they face in education & we are searching for tutors who have a passion to want to help learners progress & make change in their lives.
Lets Make Change is an Approved Alternative Provision and Specialist Tuition Partner for Nottinghamshire. Due to increasing demand, we are seeking outstanding tutors to deliver high-quality 1:1, in-person tuition to learners this will take place in community setting or learners home depending on learners needs to access education.
The Role
Deliver 1:1 tuition in English, Maths, Science and/or Primary curriculum subjects
Teach in learners’ homes, schools, or community venues
Build confidence, trust, and engagement through personalised learning
Work collaboratively with families, schools, and support professionals
Track progress and outcomes to evidence impact
Hours & Flexibility
6–30 hours per week available
Flexible workload to suit your circumstances
Sessions delivered during school hours (9am–3pm, Monday–Friday)
No evenings or weekends
About You
QTS/QTLS or substantial tutoring experience
Experience supporting learners with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, PDA, dyslexia, etc.)
Calm, patient, and relational approach
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
Ability to travel locally
