Summary
To oversee the delivery of a portfolio of interventional clinical trials that test new treatments for Respiratory and Immunology patients. These will include a variety of academic and clinical studies from phase 2 to phase 4. Duties will include consenting patients into trials, working with clinical teams on wards and outpatients, and working with our established and experienced research nursing team to support care and ensure the safety of patients in those trials. The successful candidate will also have opportunity to join Immunology and Respiratory outpatient clinics for the purpose of their overall medical training and gaining some experience within the specialties. There may also be the opportunity to support a range of other trials within R & I where medical input/cover is required ,although this is dependent on the size of the respiratory and immunology portfolio.
